John Arne Riise dreaming of MLS move, LA bound?

So, Riise has dreams of playing in the States and hinted that he’d like to play for LA.  I don’t know how much gas he’ll have left in the tank, but I do know that the interest speaks volumes in the direction Major League Soccer is headed.   Do you think LA could use his services? or could you see New York moving in for the swipe?  I know NY has 3 designated players, but with JPA’s career coming towards the tail end, I can see NY making some moves …

MLS: Week 22 Goal of the Week Nominees

I’m kind of torn on how to vote for Goal of the Week. Look at the options, you’ve got the equalizer by Mac N Jack, game winner’s by Montero, Braun and Richards, and Thierry Henry’s 1st MLS goal. The good thing is I don’t decide who wins. So vote for your favorite here.

Say it isn’t so! MLS signs a 4 year extension with adidas.

MLS announced today that they sold their soul for another 4 years. The original 10 year exclusive agreement with MLS was signed in 2004 and set to expire in 2014. Today’s contract extension binds the two companies for an additional 4 years until 2018.
I was looking forward to the seeing the league in different kit manufacturers again. I miss the old school days of having Nike, adidas, Kappa, Puma, Umbro, Reebok and Atletica outfit the different clubs. With adidas having the  contract, I feel like the don’t put any effort …

On August 25th the club announced the Cosmos would stretch coast to coast with a youth academy in Los Angeles. Today the club dropped the following video of Pele’s last game for the Cosmos.

MLS Comissioner Don Garber hasn’t hidden the fact that he would …

Quick reactions from Toronto FC’s Stefan Frei and FC Dallas’s Kevin Hartman are 2 of the nominees for Save of the Week. You can vote for your favorite here.

There are some good saves, but I don’t think they compare to this week’s Goal of the Week Nominees.
