Manchester United had to win to keep their title hopes alive on Sunday. They were hoping that with a little help from Wigan they could be the first side to win four straight league championships. While United dispatched Stoke with an easy four goal victrory, the Reds still fell short as Chelsea spanked Wigan at Stamford Bridge. Wayne Rooney left the match 13 minutes early with a groin injury but it looks like he’ll be fit for the World Cup.

In a move that won’t make United fans forget about yesterday, Manchester United have signed Chivas de Guadalajara striker Javier Hernandez. Simply known as Chicharito, the 21 year old will join the Reds on July 1st with part of the transfer agreement being that Man United will play Chivas for the grand opening of the new Chivas Stadium. This moves makes it all the more likely that Manchester United will actually be the MLS All-Star Game opponent in Houston this summer. We might even see the Red Devils in Seattle …
