Yes, the sky was falling as the MLS All-Stars were humiliated by Manchester United in Houston a week ago. Fortunately for the league, people have short memories and Manchester United will go on to crush other teams throughout the year… in particular the All Stars from the Airticity League in Irleland.

Manchester United had to win to keep their title hopes alive on Sunday. They were hoping that with a little help from Wigan they could be the first side to win four straight league championships. While United dispatched Stoke with an easy four goal victrory, the Reds still fell short as Chelsea spanked Wigan at Stamford Bridge. Wayne Rooney left the match 13 minutes early with a groin injury but it looks like he’ll be fit for the World Cup.

Nani gives United the much needed 3 points and some hope for the EPL crown. The race for the title will be decided on the last day of the season.

Tottenham couldn’t make it 3 wins in row against prem giants, as they fall to Manchester Untied 3-1. 2 goals from Ryan Giggs and one from Nani gave United the 3 points and top spot in the Premiership. Chelsea still have their game to play, but have got to certainly feel the pressure.

Despite the fact that the Red Devils are one point behind Chelsea in the Barclay’s Premiere League, ManU are still a cash cow.
