Xabi Alonso scored in the 72nd minute as Real Madrid rallied to beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-2 Saturday and complete an undefeated preseason trip through California.
Gonzalo Higuain scored two goals in the space of 10 minutes for Real Madrid in front of 89,134 at the Rose Bowl.

Fabregas staying with Arsenal

Looks like the transfer battle between Arsenal and Barcelona for Cesc Fabregas has finally come to an end (For now).  According to BBC Sport, Barcelona had put in 2 bids for the Spanish midfielder and both times failed to come to an agreement with the Gunners.  Now, that the bids have failed, Cesc  has come out expressing his 100% commitment to the North London club and has apologized for the delay in doing so.
This has to be good news for Arsenal supporters, who have been dragged along this saga all summer.  Are …

Yaya Toure to Manchester City

Manchester City have completed the signing of Yaya Toure from Barcelona on a five-year deal.
Toure, 27, has long been linked with a move to Eastlands and, having agreed a deal for David Silva earlier in the week,Roberto Mancini said he is delighted by the new arrivals.

Brazil striker Luis Fabiano has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Manchester United after ruling out a move to Tottenham.
The Sevilla star does not want to sign a new contract with the Spanish club and he is a target of AC Milan.

La Liga: Real Madrid vs Malaga Highlights

Real Madrid were hoping for Barcelona to slip up but the Galacticos couldn’t get the job done against a Malaga team that was fighting against relegation. With Barcelona’s dismantling of Valladolid, the game really only mattered to Malaga who finished one point above relegation with the draw.
