I now have a lot of ammo for the Freestyle Fridays with the Red Bull Street Style competition.

This isn’t our typical Freestyle Friday type of video but I thought the idea was fresh and different.

Today’s Freestyle Friday comes from Mr. J. Medeiros, formerly of The Procussions. After you listen to the freestyle, make sure you check the video below from his new album Friends Enemies Apples Apples.

I know this video isn’t a freestyle but it was so unique that I had to share it with you guys. The song is Holding On and can be found on Mr. J. Medeiros‘ newest album Friends Enemies Apples Apples.  If Mr. J. looks familiar, it may be that you saw him on Miami Ink.

This week’s Freestyle Friday comes to you from Dwayne Tryumf on the streets of London. Coincidentally, his newest album entitled 777 (Mark of the Peace) dropped today.

This is a piece that Setanta did on Clint Dempsey back in 2007. You can skip to the 2:35 mark for the freestyle…but why not watch the whole thing? Oh yeah, does anybody recognize those boots?

I was torn as to whether I should give you some hip hop or some footy action…so I decided to give you both. The first video is the New York Red Bulls Street Team sporting their skills in the NYC. The second video features a dope beat boxer that brings it for more than just the hip hop heads. Listen for a little Nirvana and Metallica in his set.

I’m not even going to pretend that I could pull of something like this. Big ups to  Dan Magness!

Freestyle Soccer of Canada are doing an exhibition at the Toronto International Soccer Show this weekend so I’m droppin’ some skills for Freestyle Friday.

Today’s Freestyle Friday comes from freestyle footballers Abbas Farrid and John Farnworth. The video caught my attention because it plays the song, Whoa Whoa! by Soul P. This was the lead off single for his album The Premiere and the original video features former label mate and my friend Willie Will.Both John and Abbas have their own t-shirts from Who Are Ya Designs.
