The New York Post is reporting that Barcelona has allowed Rafael Marquez to leave for free, but only if he moves to the Red Bulls.
“The one midfielder we are getting you know about,” GM Erik Soler told the Post.

Despite a great goal by Gerard Pique in the 84th minute, Barcelona couldn’t find the second goal they needed to return to the Champions League final in Madrid. The defending European Champions won the game 1-0 but lost to Internazionale  3-2 on aggregate. The Inter win gives Arjen Robben the dream rematch against his former coach at Chelsea, Jose Mourinho. This was supposed to be Real’s statement, but Barcelona had other ideas and showed why they are still the best team in the world.  Coming off his 4 goal performance, Lionel Messi stamped his presence in the game as he scored the game opener in the 33rd minute.  Madrid found themselves down 2-0 as Pedro scored in the 56th minute, which seemed to kill the game off.  Barcelona now sit at the top of La Liga on 80 points and almost guaranteeing them the title.
