Lamar Neagle

Lamar Neagle led the Sounders to victory today in the 5th place match of the La Manga Cup. The Sounders were headed to a scoreless draw against SK Brann of Norway until Neagle put home a Peter Vagenas corner kick in the 84th minute. After a disappointing loss to Rosenborg in their opening game, the Sounders bounced back to win their remaining two games in Spain. The Sounders will return to Seattle and prepare to submit their budget compliant roster by the league’s March 1st deadline.
